After Krishna’s death, Radha is said to have left her home and gone to Kadli vann, a forest. This is mentioned in the Garga Samhita and Brahma Vaivarta Purana. It is believed that Radha left behind her illusionary form, also known as Chaya Radha or her shadow, in Barsana.
