According to legends and beliefs in Hinduism, Krishna’s body was not buried but cremated. It is said that Krishna breathed his last near the confluence of the Triveni Sangam, which is the meeting point of the rivers Hiranya, Kapila, and Saraswati. This place is now known as Dehotsarg.
