Krishna broke a twin-trunked Arjuna tree to release the two imprisoned sons of Kubera, the God of Riches. The tree had been used by a sage in the past as a prison for the arrogant and drunken youths. The sage had prophesied that Krishna would be the one to release them, and Krishna fulfilled this prophecy by rolling a mortar between the trunks of the tree. As a result, the tree split open, freeing the imprisoned sons of Kubera.
